Ana Marfori

Bon Aserios asked me to do the makeup of nursing graduate Ana Marfori for his exhibit in Kasalan 2010 at the Limketkai Mall last September 2010. Ana, according to Bon, is the epitome of what “One Happy Story” photography is about- fun, exuberant, beautiful, and  elegant. Ana is currently reviewing for the Nursing boards but there was no trace of stress on her face typical of board takers. Her poise and charm are what makes her a standout.

Gown was by Edu Ragpala of One Happy Story (photography team lead by Bon Aserios). The photos appearing below are from my camera. For her professional shots by Bon Aserios, please visit the One Happy Story site.

Aikaye's Nautical Escapade

Aikaye Bollozos prepared for her debut in just one week. A student at ADMU, she came home to Cagayan de Oro on a Monday and celebrated her 18th birthday on Saturday of the same week. The pre-debut pictorials took place 2 days before the nautical-themed party. She was initially going for a simple gathering with family and friends, but her parents insisted on a party for their charming daughter.

Riding a speedboat, they sailed from Opol to Agutayan Island in Jasaan during this pre-debut shoot. Aikaye requested for a natural makeup. Nothing too girly or tacky, just pretty enough for her real self to shine through.

Debut: Camille Montesines

A fresh, natural look for Camille Montesines aka Maja Salvador/Bea Alonzo. It was a simple, non-overpowering makeup, as requested by this pretty lass during her 18th birthday. I did her hair using the Philips Multistylist, based on a peg of Marian Rivera in Preview Magazine. The posh celebration was held at Marco Hotel in Cugman, Cagayan de Oro.

Camille's Summer Hippie Shoot

Camille Montesines is a dead-ringer for Maja Salvador in this pictorial. At other times, she is said to resemble Bea Alonzo. It seems that she has the special ability to morph into beautiful celebrities. Whoever she may look like, it’s certain that Camille is a stellar beauty in her own right. Thanks to her cousin who happens to be one of my models, Nikka Mahinay, for recommending me to doll up Camille. They drove all the way to our house to have her hair and makeup done.

Camille rarely has makeup on, hence this shoot shows a different facet of her- a bolder yet sophisticated allure brought out by the dramatic eye makeup. The blush and lip color were toned down to balance the look.
